Tile is in some ways easier to maintain, more forgiving to spills and pets, and more formal in appearance than carpet. However, like any well-tread flooring in the home, to keep tile looking its best, a professional cleaning is required regularly.

Our Tile & Grout Cleaning Process:
1. Perform preliminary inspection of the tile to determine the best cleaning method for the type and condition of tile. All furniture on the areas to be cleaned is removed.
2. Any carpeting, cupboards, baseboards, or stationary furniture adjacent to the tile is masked with protective plastic to prevent contact with the cleaning agent or moisture used in this process.
3. The tile is dry-mopped to remove loose dry soil.
4. The appropriate cleaning agent is applied to the tile and allowed to “dwell” on the surface for the prescribed time necessary for the agent to take full effect.
5. The grout is scrubbed by hand to remove ground-in soil loosened by the cleaning agent.
6. The tile is thoroughly rinsed to neutralize the cleaning agent and flush out the released soil.
7. Moisture is extracted from the tile surface as necessary.
8. Per the customer’s request, a sealant is applied to the grout to provide a level of protection against spills and soil in the future.
Grout, due to its porous nature, is a difficult surface to clean without professional tools and products. Even with our resources, depending on the source and degree of soiling, our technicians may find it necessary to repeat this process several times in order to achieve the results we strive for and our customers expect.
