Carpet Cleaning

AA046394To maintain your carpet’s appearance, your carpets should be professionally cleaned every six to twelve months.  ServiceMaster Professionals technicians have the equipment and expertise to remove most wet and dry soil and spots from your carpet.  Our relationships with carpet manufacturers keep us abreast of proper care techniques, ensuring your carpet’s long life and enhanced appearance.

Our 8-Step Carpet Cleaning Process:

1. Perform preliminary inspection of the carpet to determine the best cleaning method for the type and condition of carpet.  All furniture on the areas to be cleaned is removed.

2. Carpet is vacuumed, including the hard-to-reach edge around the baseboards, and spots are pre-treated as needed.

3. Cleaning detergent is applied using our roto-machine, which loosens the ground-in soil and brings it to the surface of the carpet.

4. Carpet is rinsed using clear, h0t water, and immediately extracted with a powerful, truck-mounted vacuum, removing all soil, detergent, and 95% of the moisture from the carpet.

5. Residual spots are post-treated.

6. Carpet is groomed using a pilating rake, making the carpet fibers stand straight for efficient drying and uniform appearance.

7. Furniture is replaced on protective pads and traffic lane paper is laid down for the customer while the carpet dries.*

8. A final inspection with the customer is performed to insure all desired areas are cleaned and all furniture is replaced to the customer’s satisfaction.

*Carpet typically takes 6-8 hours to dry.  Actual drying time may vary as drying is affected by the type of carpeting, climate/weather, and other factors.

This process is designed with the customer’s concerns in mind.  It means no vacuuming and no heavy furniture lifting by the customer.  It means a dry, clean carpet in hours, not days.

We commit to doing the job right the first time, but when our customers call us back with concerns, we come back out at the soonest available time and fix the problem at no charge.

That’s the ServiceMaster Satisfaction Guarantee.
