Water Damage

There are many ways in which water enters and exits our homes, and most of the time, the water stays where it’s supposed to.  However, pipes break, washing machines leak, and toilets overflow, many times when we’re not around to notice.  A small leak can become a very large, wet problem very quickly, and ServiceMaster Professionals is the company to call in these situations.

After a plumber or appliance technician has fixed the source of the leak, it is important to act quickly to dry wet surfaces that can be restored and remove wet surfaces that are permanently destroyed before greater damage occurs.  Mold, for example, takes as little as 48 hours to grow on wet surfaces.  See our article on Mold for more information.

ServiceMaster Professionals has technicians trained and experienced in water damage mitigation.  We also have the professional equipment and tools necessary to dry water damaged materials in the home quickly and completely.  Not all wet surfaces feel wet to the touch.  A leak in one room can easily spread water into other rooms through ceilings and walls, and we have tools that can detect the reach of the moisture as far as it extends.

If you experience water damage in your home or office, call ServiceMaster Professionals.
