Upholstery Cleaning

upholsteryFlooring isn’t the only surface in the home that sees frequent use.  With the busy schedules in today’s world,  at the end of the day, we find refuge in our favorite chairs, on our comfy couches, or on our relaxing recliners.  Especially with children and pets, our furniture is well-loved, and as such, requires professional care regularly to look its best.  ServiceMaster Professionals employs trained technicians who understand the important differences and nuances in upholstery materials and the various methods required for cleaning them effectively.

Our Upholstery Cleaning Process:

1. Perform preliminary inspection of the upholstery to determine the appropriate and best cleaning method.

2. Body-contact surfaces are groomed to lift the matted fibers and improve vacuum cleaning efficiency.

3. The upholstery is vacuumed to clean and remove loose grit and soil, including the hard-to-reach crevices.

4a. If the upholstery is dry-clean only, a cleaning solvent is lightly sprayed into the material and immediately extracted.

4b. If the upholstery is wet-cleanable, a non-re-soiling detergent is applied with a brush, then the surface is lightly rinsed and immediately extracted.

5. The upholstery is groomed for efficient drying* and a uniform appearance.

6. A final inspection with the customer is performed to insure expectations were met and the customer is satisfied.

*Upholstery typically takes 4-6 hours to dry.  Actual drying time may vary as drying is affected by the type of material, climate/weather, and other factors.

A clean home is an inviting place to rest, relax, and entertain in.  The furniture is as much a part of this space as everything else, and it is therefore important and rewarding to show it the same care.

We commit to doing our job right the first time, but when our customers call us back with concerns, we come back out at the soonest available time and fix the problem at no charge.

That’s our Satisfaction Guarantee.
